Sports Premium funding
The premium must be used to fund additional and sustainable improvements to the provision of PE and sport. It is to benefit primary-aged pupils and to encourage the development of healthy, active lifestyles.
The government have provided additional funding to support schools in their provision of Physical Education (PE). At St Mary's we have used this creatively to focus on a variety of extracurricular activities that have involved the whole class as well as small groups of children. As well as this, we have also focussed on developing the skills of staff to support the ongoing impact of funding. This enables us to focus on the physical wellbeing of all our children.
