Advent Project
Dear parents and carers
On behalf of Bishop Philip, we would like to invite families of St Mary's community to take part in an Advent project, which entails making an Advent wreath, lighting candles and taking time to pray around it as a family.
To facilitate your participation, please find attached a link to step by step instructions on how to make an Advent wreath as well as a s collection of prayers, scripture readings, YouTube clips and a song for each day of Advent.
Advent is the time of hope - and hope is what we all need above all. So let's take this opportunity to pray for hope that with God the impossible can be possible, that obstacles can be overcome and the gloom and despair can be transformed into light.
