Heritage Horticulture Project involved Year 5 classes in Ryde! This had been set up by Mike Fitt (the queen's ex gardener who now lives in Ryde) in collaboration with Monkton Arts, IW council and Community Rail Partnership. The children had to design a colourful flowerbed.
The winners have had their designs planted up in Eastern Gardens and will be invited go on a visit to Osborne House to see the Victorian potting sheds. All designs will go on exhibition in Monkton Arts.
