Dear Families
With Mrs Langridge retiring at the end of this academic year and following an unsuccessful recruitment process for a new headteacher at St Mary’s, the Governors in consultation with the Catholic Diocese of Portsmouth and the Local Authority have made the decision to use the model of Executive headship across both schools with a Head of School in each school. This model ensures that both school communities have a Head of School who will be their daily contact.
The Governors, following a recruitment process, have appointed Mrs Maggie Sanderson as Executive Head of the Federation from September. The Governors are continuing with the process of appointing Heads of School for the Federation. We will be in touch with both school communities when these are both secured.
