Poppy Display at Quay Arts

We are delighted to have made our beautiful contributions to the display of poppies at Quay Arts in Newport as part of the work of the Royal Marines Association (RMA). The Association is currently working to tidy the war graves on the Island to mark the 75th anniversary of the RMA and as part of this, they wanted to make a display of flowers to commemorate the men and women who did not make it home from the wars. 

Each class has made poppies or flowers from recyclable materials and these are being put together with others from around the island at Quay Arts this week. 

There will be an opening ceremony on Saturday 6th November at 3pm.
